yasushi takahashi proposed to his girlfriend using google earth and a gps device. he was inspired by large-scale gps art. takahashi planned on writing "marry me" with a heart and arrow throughout japan. according to google, takahashi quit his job to complete the project. it took him 6 months and started on the island of hokkaido, japan. the end point was kagoshima, in the south of Japan. the trek covered more than 4,451 miles, according to guinness world records. with that, takahashi has been entered into the guinness world records for the largest gps drawing in history.
OUT OF SPACE
on a zero-gravity flight hurtling through the sky, mollie bloudoff-indelicato proposed to her boyfriend greg linch. she couldn't get down on one knee because they were floating, but the important thing is that he said "yes".
